The V-Drums 7 Series with the V71 module became one of the most celebrated drum innovations ever, and it’s widely regarded as the best drum module in the world. That’s why it’s so exciting that Roland has now brought the same sound technology to more compact and affordable kits. The new sound engine in the V31 and V51 modules works entirely with multi-layered samples from Drum Workshop (DW), recorded in high resolution and enhanced with Roland’s Behaviour Modelling technology. The result is a playing experience that reacts to every nuance – from subtle ghost notes to powerful strikes.

Until now, only the most expensive V-Drums kits featured Roland’s top-tier sounds. Now, every model offers the same professional sound quality – whether you choose the entry-level TD-313 or the fully acoustic-designed VAD-516. New pads with acoustic feel

The new PD-10P and PD-12P pads feature more sensors, chrome hoops, and improved strike detection. The construction minimizes hotspots and delivers a natural feel, even during fast passages. This allows you to play with the same expression and comfort as on an acoustic drum set.
