New Roland TD-07KV2 and TD-07DMK2 – Updated V-Drums for Home Practice

Roland updates the TD-07 series with two complete, compact V-Drums kits featuring improved pads, easier assembly, and more ways to develop your playing.

Roland introduces the TD-07KV2 and TD-07DMK2, two updated electronic drum kits that combine the trusted TD-07 module with improved pads, easier assembly, and complete five-piece configurations.

Both models are ideal for beginners, returning drummers, and anyone looking for a compact electronic drum kit for home practice. Mesh heads provide natural rebound, while Roland’s coaching tools help develop timing, technique, and endurance.

Roland TD-07DMK2 – Compact and Accessible

The TD-07DMK2 is the most compact model. It features a 10-inch PD-10H snare and three 8-inch PD-8H tom pads, all with mesh heads. CY-5 pads are used for the hi-hat, crash, and ride.

The integrated hi-hat pedal also detects half-open playing. The KD-10 kick pad supports both single and double pedals.

Roland TD-07KV2 – Larger Pads and Two Crash Cymbals

The TD-07KV2 offers more playing space and a larger setup. It includes a 10-inch PD-10H snare, two 8-inch PD-8H tom pads, and a larger 10-inch PD-10H floor tom.

The kit features two 12-inch CY-8 cymbals for crash and ride, plus an additional 10-inch CY-5 crash. The hi-hat is controlled by a separate FD-9 pedal, and the kick pad is a KD-10.

TD-07 Module with Bluetooth and Coaching Tools

Both kits use Roland’s TD-07 module. Bluetooth lets you play along with music, video lessons, and other audio from a phone or tablet.

The updated Coach mode includes interactive exercises and daily practice sessions. Roland also includes 100 complimentary Melodics lessons tailored for V-Drums.

The stand arrives partially assembled for quicker setup and reduced packaging. Kick pedal and drum throne are sold separately.

The TD-07KV2 and TD-07DMK2 are expected to become available in October 2026.
