Who is Eloy Casagrande
Eloy Casagrande made his name as a drummer in Brazilian metal giants Sepultura, where he played for over a decade before leaving the band in 2024 and shortly after becoming Slipknot's new drummer. His playing style is known for weaving Brazilian rhythms into technical, powerful metal drumming.

The design, in short
Working with Promark, Eloy has shaped a stick with a 5B base whose shoulder flares out to 2B dimensions further up the stick. In practice, this adds weight and rebound to rimshots and a fuller sound on the toms, while the grip retains the slimmer, faster feel of a standard 5B – a combination that mirrors his own need for both finesse and power in his playing.
The raw, unlacquered finish improves grip when hands get sweaty, and the teardrop tip is designed to deliver clear articulation on cymbals.

TXECW is aimed at drummers playing genres with powerful strokes – hard rock, metal, and similar styles – who don't want to sacrifice control in faster passages.
