Roland Electronic Drum Kit TD-02KV

Product Description

The Roland TD-02KV is an electronic drum set built around a mesh snare with rim-trigger and a TD-02 module with preset drum kits and coach modes. It is a quiet, expressive kit with a genuine playing feel, suited for flats and tight practice rooms.

Pads And Feel

The PDX-8 snare pad has a mesh head with rim-trigger and supports both cross-stick and rimshot. The hi-hat, crash and ride cymbal pads all have a choke function, as do the tom pads, giving natural choke functions across the whole kit. The KT-1 kick trigger and FD-1 hi-hat control are sound-dampened, and the hi-hat and kick pedals are also sound-dampening.

Module

The TD-02 module has 16 preset drum kits, a metronome and 5 coach modes, including Time Check and Quiet Count. The module has a headphone output, a 3.5 mm aux mix input and USB-B for MIDI and audio. The USB connection makes it possible to connect the kit to recording and music software on a computer. There is also a slot for a Bluetooth adapter, which is not included and is sold separately.

Stand

The kit stands on an MDS-LITE four-post rack with an acoustic layout, built to dimensions requiring a footprint of approximately 120 × 80 cm. The delivery includes bass and hi-hat pedals, three tom pads and three cymbals.

Expansion

The kit can be expanded with more pads, a Bluetooth adapter, a monitor or a drum mat. It is intended for home use, practice and creative development.
