The Roland TD-02K is a complete electronic drum kit distilled from decades of V-Drums development, giving you the essentials to get playing straight away. It offers authentic drum sounds, responsive pads and noise-reducing features that make practising at home realistic, plus a height-adjustable stand that suits players of all ages.

Sound and playability

The drum sounds draw on the same V-Drums heritage found in Roland's higher-end kits, and the ultra-sensitive pads deliver expressive response from the start. Each pad's sensitivity can be finely adjusted to match your playing touch. A built-in metronome (tempo 20–260, five rhythm types, 15 sounds) plus five Coach modes – Time Check (easy), Time Check (hard), Quiet Count, Auto Up/Down and Change-Up – help you build timing and technique in a structured way.

Quiet practice, wherever you live

The kick trigger and hi-hat control pedal (FD-1) are built to minimise sound transfer to other rooms, and the headphone output allows completely silent practice. That makes the kit a solid choice for apartments or shared housing. The module also includes an audio input for playing along with a smartphone or music player, along with USB connectivity for audio/MIDI work with computers and mobile devices.

Who it's for

The TD-02K suits anyone putting together their first electronic kit, or looking for a compact setup that works for both kids and adults thanks to the height-adjustable three-post stand. Drum throne, sticks and headphones are not included but are easy to add. When you're ready to expand, a wide range of V-Drums accessories is available, including an additional crash cymbal (OP-TD1C), larger snare pads (PDX-6/PDX-8, requiring the MDH-Standard), KD series kick pads, PM series personal drum monitors, the DAP-2X accessory package, the TDM series drum mat, the NE series noise eater, and the BT-DUAL Bluetooth Audio MIDI Dual Adaptor for wireless streaming.
