Function
The microphone has a switchable low-cut filter at 80 Hz with 6 dB per octave, as well as a switchable -20 dB attenuation pad. Max SPL is 136 or 156 dBSPL depending on whether the attenuation is on or off, and the dynamic range is 120 or 140 dB. The noise level is 16 dB(A) and the electrical impedance is below 200 Ohm. It requires 48 Volt phantom power according to IEC 61938.
Construction
The sE7 has an all-metal housing and a gold-plated XLR connector. The construction is robust and withstands stage use in tough environments.
