Product Description
The sE7 from sE Electronics is a condenser microphone sold as a matched pair with cardioid characteristic. The pair is matched from hundreds of microphones for identical performance between the two microphones.
Construction
The microphones have an all-metal housing and a robust construction built for stage use. The XLR connector is gold-plated, and the capsule is a 1/2" back-electret condenser capsule.
Functions
A switchable lowcut filter at 80 Hz with 6 dB per octave is built in, along with a switchable -20 dB pad that extends the dynamic range. Max SPL is 136/156 dB SPL depending on whether the pad is engaged, and the dynamic range is 120/140 dB.
Requirements And Contents
The microphones require 48 volt phantom power according to IEC 61938 and have an impedance of less than 200 Ohm. Included in the package are 2x sE7 microphone, 2x microphone clip with thread adapter, and 2x windscreen.
