Product Description
sE Electronics T2 Matched Pair is a matched pair of 2 large-diaphragm microphones with a 1'' Titan/Mylar diaphragm and a handmade True Condenser capsule. The microphones have four polar patterns, Cardioid, Hyper Cardioid, Omni and Figure-8, and suit vocals, guitars, toms, overheads, classical pianos and strings.
The titanium-sputtered capsule is stiffer than a gold-sputtered capsule and gives a faster transient response. The sound is full and balanced in the mid and low range, while the titanium capsule gives an unhyped but ultra-detailed high-frequency response. Each microphone has a low-cut filter at 60/120 Hz and pre-attenuation of -10/-20 dB, and requires 48V phantom power via XLR3F connection. The microphone can be centred in the shock mount, turned around and used flat against a drumhead or guitar cabinet, or angled outward and placed into a bass drum. Included in the box are 2 T2 microphones, 2 shockmounts with thread adapters, a stereo mounting bar and a metal case.
