Audix MicroD
A hypercardioid condenser mic built for drums and percussion, with smooth, accurate response for stage and studio. Complete kit included.
Product Description
The Audix MicroD is a small-diaphragm condenser microphone built primarily for drums and percussion, for use on stage and in the studio. Its hypercardioid polar pattern stays uniformly controlled across the frequency range, giving a smooth, accurate response that captures the true character of the instrument.
The MicroD's tight pickup pattern helps isolate individual drums in a busy kit. It rejects bleed from cymbals and neighboring drums while still delivering a natural, accurate tone. It's a popular choice for miking toms, snare and percussion in both live and recording setups.
