Vater Extended Play Power - Nylon Tip

Product Description

Vater Extended Play is a drumstick engineered to last longer without sacrificing feel. After 14 months of development, Vater created a stick protected against breakage from rimshots, while keeping the same balance and feel as their standard hickory sticks.

• Durable, pearl-colored coating on the tip and shoulder that guards against wear and cracking
• 3" long Stick Shield™ placed at the center of the stick, made from a material 8 times stronger than steel
• Prevents the stick from breaking during rimshots
• Guaranteed against breakage due to wear in the area protected by the Stick Shield™
• Same great balance and feel as Vater's standard hickory models, but with significantly higher durability

Construction

The back of the stick has the same fine wood finish found on all Vater sticks, while the upper section (tip and shoulder) is protected by the pearl-colored coating. At the center of the stick sits the Stick Shield™. A 3" long section made from an extremely tough material designed to withstand repeated rimshots without cracking or breaking.

Who It's For

A great choice if you play hard, use rimshots frequently, or simply want to replace your sticks less often. The nylon tip gives a clear, distinct attack on both drums and cymbals.
