20" Paiste Formula 602 Classic Sounds Thin Crash Cymbal

Product Description

A 20" thin crash cymbal from Paiste's legendary Formula 602 Classic Sounds series, made from CuSn20 bronze (602-Bronze) following the same principles as at the series' launch in 1959. Hand-crafted by skilled Swiss cymbal makers, it delivers a warm, full and precise tone with clear retro/vintage character.

Formula 602 Classic Sounds is one of the most famous and beloved cymbal series of all time, known for its fine, clean and delicate sound. The tone is precise and controllable, with clarity and a sensitive, responsive feel that makes the cymbal highly dynamic to play.

Sound and Feel

The cymbal has a washy stick sound and a fairly lively intensity, with an integrated bell that adds extra character to the attack. The thin weight contributes to the sensitive, responsive playing feel.

Applications

Best suited for low to medium volume and particularly well suited for recording environments, though it also works live. A natural choice for jazz, fusion, blues, pop, rock, country, folk and acoustic music.
