18" Istanbul Mehmet X-Rubbish Crash Cymbal
X-Rubbish 18" Crash Cymbal from Istanbul Mehmet with a dark, low-overtone sound and lower sustain. Punchy highs and mids.
Product Description
The X-Rubbish 18" from Istanbul Mehmet is a crash cymbal with a dark sound, low overtones and a lower sustain level than you might expect from a crash. It's a good choice if you want to keep your cymbals a little quieter in relation to the drums, or if you simply like to mix things up in your setup.
The sound is dark with low overtones, while the attack carries punchy highs and mids. The lower sustain level means the cymbal sits back a little quicker after the initial hit, making it easier to work into a mix without it taking over.
Who It's For
Good for players who want a crash that doesn't dominate, or who are after a different tonal color to complement the rest of the kit.
