The K Series Paper Thin Crash Pack from Zildjian contains 18" and 20" crash cymbals with a dark, explosive sound and fast decay.
Sound and Feel
The sound is dark and explosive with a fast decay and shimmering overtones. Under the stick you get a silky, responsive feel, and the cymbals respond clearly even at lighter strokes.
Construction
The cymbals are made from a B20 bronze composition and belong to the Paper Thin weight class, meaning they are very thin. The surface is traditional, hand-hammered, and a three-step hammering process gives tonal nuance and flexibility.
