Zildjian Gen16 AE-DR1 Short Legs
Zildjian Gen16 AE-DR1 drum rack with short legs (53 cm), incl. 6 multi-clamps. Lightweight, foldable, fits up to a 20" bass drum.
Product Description
The Zildjian Gen16 AE-DR1 is a lightweight, short-leg drum rack engineered using design principles similar to aircraft and machine construction. Built for both acoustic and electric setups, it's the rack behind Zildjian's AE system for low-volume cymbal playing, but works just as well as a standalone rack for a regular drum kit.
The patented hinge system lets the rack fold quickly for easy setup and transport, ideal for players who rig up and break down often. A built-in cable channel lets you route up to 12 XLR cables through both the vertical and horizontal bars, giving you a complete cable management system that hides and protects your cabling.
Clamps and Mounting
Each AE Rack System ships with 6 patent-pending glass-filled ABS multi-clamps. The AE Rack Multi-Clamp fits most manufacturers' mounting accessories from 3/8" to 3/4" in diameter and can be positioned on either side of the bar, with a solid one-touch tightening mechanism.
Size and Compatibility
The short-leg version has a leg height of 53 cm and fits bass drums up to 20" in diameter, making it a compact, sturdy choice for both electronic and acoustic setups.
