The Zildjian A391 A Promo Pack is a complete, affordable starter set featuring four of the A Zildjian series' most popular cymbals: a 14" New Beat Hi-Hat, a 21" Sweet Ride, and two Medium Thin Crash cymbals in 16" and 18". All four share the classic, bright and warm A Zildjian sound. A safe choice if you want a full cymbal setup without piecing it together cymbal by cymbal.

Zildjian's A series is a classic that has taken several forms over the years. The current series draws inspiration from how A Zildjian sounded in the 1960s – soft cymbals that open up even at lower volumes, with a bright top end and a comfortable warmth underneath, which is the series' signature. That makes this pack a great fit for rock, pop, covers and other settings where you want a classic bright cymbal sound that doesn't dominate the mix.

14" New Beat Hi-Hat

An incredibly versatile hi-hat that works for everything from CCR to Mötley Crüe. Closed, it gives a clear sound with good cut; opened slightly, it becomes a pleasantly hissy hi-hat; and opened a couple of inches it starts chattering, working well for heavy metal too. It responds quickly to hi-hat openings and gives a clear sound on foot chick.

21" Sweet Ride

Likely one of the most all-round rides on the market. Played on the tip, it offers a classic, bright and comfortable ride with just enough wash to suit most styles of music. The bell is generously sized, making it easy to hit, without becoming overly cutting or standing out from the ride's own sound. The Sweet Ride also has excellent crash qualities – great as a massive crash in a compact setup, or for riding and crashing on at the same time. Compared to a regular crash it has better control and doesn't wobble the same way, giving a wider, more massive wash while holding up far better to that kind of use.

16" and 18" Medium Thin Crash

Two crashes that suit a wide range of musical styles. Bright and pleasant, with just enough cut to be heard without dominating the mix. The sound is classic, with warmth and top end, and both cymbals open up nicely without needing to be played overly hard.
