8" Zildjian ZXT Trashformer Effects Cymbal

Product Description

The Zildjian ZXT Trashformer is an 8" effects cymbal from the FX Series, designed to give you a trashy, raw splash sound that cuts through the mix. It works just as well as a standalone effects cymbal or stacked on top of another cymbal for a completely new sound. An easy way to add exotic character to your kit.

Zildjian developed a newly refined hammering technique for the ZXT series, giving a powerful sound with pronounced overtones aimed specifically at modern rock music. The Trashformer is one of the newer cymbals in the series, standing out through its flexibility: it can be played on its own as a thin splash with a trashy character, or stacked on top of another cymbal to create an entirely new sound of its own.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want to broaden your cymbal sound with something that stands out a little extra, without investing in a full stack. Works well if you already have your core setup in place and want to add character and variation.
