Sound and Feel

The stack is inherently bright, musical and very responsive. By adjusting the tension of the Zildjian Cymbolt® mount, you dial in the voicing you want, from a bright and splashy wash to a raw, quick and cutting sound. The concept is especially popular in fusion, industrial and hip-hop subgenres like trap, but works just as well in any other drum set or percussion situation thanks to the level of customization it offers.

The Cymbolt® Mount

The included Zildjian Cymbolt® mount attaches easily to cymbal stands with a quick release function and replaces existing wing nuts and felts. It's a multi-functional mount that lets you quickly and easily adjust tension between the cymbals to dial in the articulation you're after.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want to expand your kit or percussion setup with additional effects sounds, and want to be able to vary the tone from tight to loose without changing hardware. Also great if you already own other Zildjian FX models and want to combine them for even more sound possibilities.
