7" Zildjian Break Bell - Brilliant

Product Description

The Zildjian 7" FX Break Bell was designed in collaboration with Jay Weinberg (Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves, Bruce Springsteen). Its conical cup, hammered flanged edge and brilliant finish give this bell a unique blend of overtones that speak immediately, blurring the line between a bell and a chime.

The Break Bell is the thinnest and lightest bell in the Zildjian lineup, resulting in a complex, musical bell sound with a lighter overall weight. Inspired by sounds used in traditional eastern ceremonies and rituals, it works equally well in the heaviest music applications and anywhere unique, complex overtones are wanted.

Construction

The Break Bell features a unique conical cup and a hammered, flanged edge, finished with a buffed brilliant finish for bright, shimmering overtones.

Use

Use it on its own in a drum kit or percussion setup, or combine it with other cymbals to build unique stacks. Part of what makes Zildjian's FX Series such a playground for experimentation.
