• Clear bell and clean stick definition
• Crashable for accents

Sound Character

Depending on how it's played, the K Sweet Ride can produce either an intense or a more mature tone. The K series has long been popular in jazz circles but is also favored by funk and rock drummers. The clear bell gives clean stick definition that cuts through the mix without becoming harsh.

Construction

The cymbal is hammered using the traditional K style hammering method and has a fully lathed appearance. It's Medium Thin in weight, giving it a responsive feel while still being crashable. The K Sweet Ride is also available in 21", but this listing is for the 23" model.

Who It's For

A great choice if you want a dark, mature tonal palette with flexibility between jazz and heavier genres, and the ability to use it for crash accents without switching cymbals.
