Zildjian 22" K Constantinople Thin Over Hammered Ride

Product Description

The K Constantinople Thin Over Hammered Ride is a 22" ride cymbal from Zildjian's K Constantinople series, built for players who want the classic, warm and slightly dark K-sound from the era when these cymbals were still made in Turkey. The thin, over-hammered construction gives a beautifully dark rise and plenty of ride character.

With the K Constantinople series, Zildjian has recreated the classic, warm and slightly dark K-sound from when the cymbals were still manufactured in Turkey. The development involved input from, among others, Elvin Jones (known for his work with Miles Davis and John Coltrane), one of the drummers who popularized this sound in the 50s and 60s.

Meticulous manufacturing

K Constantinople cymbals are made under extremely strict quality control, which means they are produced in smaller quantities than Zildjian's other series. The series is aimed at players who won't settle for anything less than the very best in cymbals.

Who It's For

This ride suits players looking for a classic, dark and complex K-sound with a clear rise, rather than a bright, cutting modern ride.
