The K Constantinople Medium Thin High Ride is a 22" ride cymbal from Zildjian, built for the classic, warm, and slightly dark K sound of the cymbals once made in Turkey. It offers a full, structured tone and also works well as a crash, making it a flexible choice for players who want a complex ride sound with plenty of character.
The K Constantinople series was developed by Zildjian to recreate the sound of cymbals originally made in Turkey, with input from Elvin Jones among others, the drummer who played with Miles Davis and John Coltrane and helped popularize that sound in the 50s and 60s. The cymbals in this series are made under extremely tight quality control and are therefore produced in smaller quantities than Zildjian's other series. K Constantinople is for players who won't settle for anything less than the very best in cymbals.
