21" Zildjian K Projection Ride - Traditional/Brilliant

Product Description

The 21" K Zildjian Projection Ride was designed in collaboration with Craig Reynolds (Stray From the Path). It combines a raw, unlathed brilliant bell with a fully lathed, traditionally finished bow, giving a massive bell tone with maximum separation and attack alongside a softer, buttery feel across the bow. It's built for players who want a ride with a clearly defined bell and serious crash capability.

• Extra-large, unlathed, buffed brilliant bell for defined stick attack and projection
• Fully lathed, traditionally finished bow for optimal feel and wash
• Bright, piercing bell sound combined with darker, powerful crashability
• Dual traditional-brilliant finish
• Designed with Craig Reynolds, Stray From the Path

Sound and Feel

The extra-large, unlathed bell delivers a massive, piercing tone with maximum separation from the rest of the cymbal. The fully lathed bow offers increased spread and crashability with a softer, buttery feel, making the 21" Projection Ride equally at home as a comping crash or a full-on crash cymbal.

K Zildjian Series

K Zildjian cymbals offer dynamic range with dark undertones and remarkable fullness. The series is hammered using a unique method that gives the cymbals a dry, low pitch and a shimmering character. Depending on how they're played, they can produce either an intense or a more mature sound. The K series has long been popular in jazz circles as well as with funk and rock drummers, and pairs well with cymbals from the A series for a broader sound palette.
