Zildjian 21" K Custom Special Dry Ride

Product Description

The Zildjian K Custom Special Dry Ride is a 21" ride cymbal with a dry, trashy sound and fast attack. Made from Zildjian's 80/20 bronze secret alloy, it features fully lathed bottoms paired with a raw, unlathed natural top finish, giving it a raw character and short decay. The integrated bell sound lets the whole cymbal respond easily on impact, making it versatile for both studio and live playing situations.

The K Custom family is built on the same principles as the original K series, refined with a process that emphasizes the cymbals' dry character. The Special Dry line takes this further with an innovative three-step hammering process, a distinctive shape, and an extra thin weight, giving the cymbal a fast attack that shuts down quickly with just enough sustain.

The sound is dark and trashy with dry overtones and short decay, and the raw top appearance adds to the character. It delivers a nice, solid stick sound but is also crashable, with a good wash under the stick and dark, funky undertones. The integrated bell lets the whole cymbal respond easily.

The Zildjian K Custom Special Dry Ride is a great choice if you want a ride cymbal with a raw, modern sound that works equally well on stage and in the studio.
