Zildjian 20" K Custom Session Ride

Product Description

The Zildjian K Custom Session Ride 20" is a ride cymbal built on the K series' classic manufacturing method, refined to emphasize the dry character the K Custom line is known for. The result is a ride with clean, clear stick definition and dark, complex overtones. A natural choice if you want control without sacrificing nuance.

Compared to its 18" counterpart, the 20" model offers longer sustain and a lower pitch, giving it a fuller sound without becoming uncontrollable. The stick attack is described as spectacularly clean and clear, while the bell retains a crystal-clear character that cuts through even as the rest of the cymbal carries dark, trashy overtones and a short decay.

The K Custom series is manufactured following the same principles as the original K series, but the process has been refined to enhance the dry tonal character. This gives the cymbals a shorter decay and a broader range of use than the original series.
