Zildjian 20" K Constantinople Medium Ride

Product Description

The K Constantinople Medium Ride is a 20" ride cymbal from Zildjian's K Constantinople series, built to recreate the classic warm, slightly dark K sound from when the cymbals were still made in Turkey. It offers a bolder character with more emphasis, a clearly defined stick sound and a bit more articulation on attack.

With the K Constantinople series, Zildjian recreated the classic warm and slightly dark K sound from when the cymbals were still made in Turkey. Development drew on input from players including Elvin Jones (Miles Davis, John Coltrane). One of the drummers who popularized the sound in the 50s and 60s.

Manufacturing

K Constantinople cymbals are made under extremely strict quality control, which means they are produced in smaller quantities than other series in Zildjian's range. K Constantinople is for players who won't settle for anything less than the very best in cymbals.

Sound Character

Compared to other ride cymbals in the series, this one is a bit bolder, with more emphasis on the attack, a more clearly defined stick sound, and a bit more articulation between strokes.
