Zildjian 20" A Custom Projection Crash
Crash cymbal (A Custom Projection) by Zildjian, 20" with brilliant finish. Fast, shimmering crash with more body and power.
Product Description
The Zildjian A Custom Projection Crash is a 20" crash cymbal from the A Custom series, built to cut through in modern rock and pop settings. It delivers a fast, shimmering crash sound with extra body and power, without overpowering the rest of the kit.
The A Custom series is based on the classic A cymbals but is made with a new hammering process that makes the cymbals thinner. The series was developed together with Vinnie Colaiuta (Sting, Frank Zappa, Chick Corea), with a sound tailored for modern rock and pop contexts.
Sound and Feel
The sound is often described as "sweet". Not too dark and not too bright. It cuts through nicely in a band mix without dominating the rest of the kit, and the Projection model adds extra power and body to the crash sound compared to a standard A Custom crash.
All A Custom cymbals come in a brilliant finish, a polished, mirror-like surface.
