Zildjian 20" A Custom Medium Ride
20" ride cymbal from Zildjian's A Custom line, brilliant finish. Balanced "sweet" tone that cuts through without overpowering.
Product Description
A 20" medium ride from Zildjian's A Custom series, finished in brilliant and voiced with input from Vinnie Colaiuta. A great choice for rock and pop drummers who want a cymbal that cuts through the mix without taking over.
Sound and construction
The A Custom series is based on the classic A cymbals but produced with a new hammering technique that makes the cymbals thinner. The result is a tone often described as "sweet". Not too dark and not too bright. It breaks through nicely in a band setting without dominating the rest of the kit.
Development
The series was developed together with Vinnie Colaiuta, known for his work with Sting, Frank Zappa and Chick Corea, with a sound tailored for modern rock and pop contexts.
