19" Zildjian K Dark Crash Thin
Dry, dark crash with low pitch and shimmering character. Full, warm tone for jazz, funk and rock.
Product Description
The Zildjian K Dark Crash Thin 19" is a thin crash cymbal from the K series, hammered with a unique process that gives it a dry, low-pitched tone and a shimmering character. Depending on how it's played, the sound can range from intense to more full and warm. Long a favorite among jazz musicians, it works just as well for funk and rock drummers looking for a dark, characterful crash.
The low pitch and dry core tone let this cymbal sit nicely in a mix without ever becoming harsh. Dig in for a more intense response, or play it lighter for a warmer, rounder sound. The dynamic range is there when you need it.
Who It's For
A great fit if you want a dark, complex crash with jazz roots that still holds up in funk and rock settings. Also a natural pick if you already play other K Zildjian cymbals and want to expand into a thin, fast-responding crash.
