The 18" K Custom Hybrid Crash is a crash cymbal from Zildjian's K Custom series, developed together with Akira Jimbo. It combines the K series' dark, dry character with a brilliant edge, making it an unusually versatile crash.
K Custom cymbals are built on the same foundation as the original K series, but the process has been refined to bring out the cymbals' dry character even further. The result is a sound that has broadened the K series' range of use, with dry, trashy overtones and a short decay.
