17" Zildjian K Custom Hybrid Crash Cymbal
17" K Custom Hybrid crash from Zildjian, designed together with Akira Jimbo. Combines dark tonal qualities with brilliance.
Product Description
The K Custom Hybrid is a 17" crash cymbal from Zildjian, developed together with drummer Akira Jimbo. It follows the same principles as the original K series but with a refined process that enhances the dry character, here combined with a bright, brilliant top end.
Zildjian's K Custom cymbals are made using the same basic principle as the original K series, but the process has been developed to enhance the cymbals' dry character. The result is a sound that has broadened the cymbals' range of use even further. Dry, trashy overtones and short decay give a sound that's easy to control in a mix while still keeping character and nuance.
This particular model, the K Custom Hybrid, combines the dark tonal qualities the K Custom series is known for with an extra measure of brilliance, making it versatile both in the studio and on stage.
