Zildjian 17" A Custom Projection Crash

Product Description

The 17" A Custom Projection Crash is a crash cymbal from Zildjian's A Custom series, developed together with Vinnie Colaiuta for a sound tailored to modern rock and pop settings. It cuts through the band mix clearly without overpowering the rest of the kit.

The A Custom series is based on the classic A cymbals but is made using a new hammering process that produces thinner cymbals. This gives a sound often described as "sweet". Not too dark and not too bright. Making the Projection Crash easy to place in a mix without it taking over.

Sound Character

The sound is fast and shimmering with a short crash decay, while the cymbal offers more power and body than a traditional A cymbal. It suits players who want a clear, cutting crash sound in modern genres.

Construction

All A Custom cymbals are delivered with a brilliant finish, the polished surface treatment characteristic of the series.
