16" Zildjian K Constantinople Crash Cymbal
16" crash cymbal from Zildjian's K Constantinople series, warm dark K sound in the Elvin Jones tradition.
Product Description
The K Constantinople 16" Crash is Zildjian's recreation of the classic, warm and slightly dark K sound from the era when the cymbals were made in Turkey. The series was developed with input from, among others, Elvin Jones (Miles Davis, John Coltrane), one of the drummers who popularized that sound in the 1950s and 60s.
- Warm, dark K sound rooted in Turkish cymbal tradition
- Developed with input from Elvin Jones, among others
- Manufactured under extremely strict quality control
- Produced in smaller quantities than other Zildjian series
Sound and Character
The K Constantinople series is for players who want the classic K sound in its most authentic form: warm, complex, and a touch darker than a modern crash. The strict manufacturing control means each cymbal in the series is produced in limited quantities, giving the whole series a handcrafted feel.
Who It's For
K Constantinople is for players who won't settle for anything less than the very best in cymbals. Drummers who value historic tonal character and are willing to pay for it.
