14" Zildjian A Custom EFX Effects Cymbal - Brilliant
Zildjian 14" A Custom EFX, effect crash cymbal with laser-cut holes and Brilliant finish.
Product Description
The A Custom EFX is a 14" effect crash cymbal with laser-cut holes that give it a fast, trashy sound. It was developed together with Vinnie Colaiuta and tailored for modern rock and pop settings.
Sound
The cymbal has a fast, trashy effect sound suited to accents. In a band context it cuts through nicely without taking over, which means it works alongside the rest of the instrumentation.
Construction
The laser-cut holes in the cymbal are what create the trashy sound. The cymbal is made with a new hammering method that makes the cymbals thinner, which affects both response and sound.
Series and Finish
The A Custom EFX belongs to Zildjian's A Custom series and has a Brilliant finish.
Collaboration
The cymbal was developed together with drummer Vinnie Colaiuta. It is tailored for modern rock and pop settings where a distinct effect sound is needed.
