Product Description
The Zildjian K Custom Hybrid Splash is an 11" splash cymbal developed together with Akira Jimbo. It combines a dark sound character with brilliance, and the hybrid construction gives it dry, trashy overtones with a short decay.
K Custom cymbals are built on the same principle as the original K series, but the manufacturing method has been developed further to enhance the cymbals' dry character. The result is a sound that has broadened the usable range compared to the classic K cymbals. Dry and trashy, but with a clear, brilliant overtone quality thanks to the hybrid construction.
As an 11" splash it works well for short, distinct accents where you want a quick attack and short decay, with more character and nuance than a fully conventional splash.
