The Zildjian A Custom 10" Splash is a small, fast splash cymbal from the A Custom series, developed together with Vinnie Colaiuta (Sting, Frank Zappa, Chick Corea) for a modern rock and pop sound. It delivers a short, shimmering accent that cuts through nicely in a band setting without overpowering the rest of the kit.
Sound Character
The A Custom series is based on the classic A cymbals, but made using a new hammering technique that leaves the cymbals thinner. The result is often described as "sweet" – not too dark, not too bright – which makes this 10" splash a great accent cymbal that's easy to hear without sticking out too much. The cymbal is finished in brilliant finish, like the rest of the A Custom line.
