The Yamaha EAD10 is a compact drum module that captures the sound of your whole kit via a microphone mounted on the bass drum hoop, giving you completely new drum sounds through your headphones. Completely new drum sounds
The microphone picks up sound from your whole kit, and the module lets you choose entirely new sounds in your headphones. Your acoustic kit starts behaving almost like an electronic one, letting you pick freely from preset sounds or create your own — a tight studio sound, a big live sound, an open jazz kit, or fully electronic tones.
Super simple recording of music and video
Besides reshaping your sound, the EAD10 can record your kit at the push of a button, straight to USB or your phone, with no extra mics to deal with. You can mix in music you want to play along to, and the module can automatically add a click and count-in to the track. With the companion app and a cable connection to your phone, you can even record video.
Miking up and external triggers
The EAD10 also works for miking up your kit at smaller club gigs. The module has a built-in metronome and supports a range of external triggers and drum pads.
