Yamaha Tour Custom TMP0F4 10"/12"/14"/20" - Licorice Satin

Product Description

The Yamaha Tour Custom TMP0F4 is an all-maple shell pack in 10", 12" and 14" toms plus a 20" bass drum, finished in Licorice Satin. The all-maple shells give a warm, bright tone with strong projection, carrying forward Yamaha's Absolute series design at a more accessible price.

All-maple shells

The 6-ply shells are 5.6 mm thick with a 45-degree bearing edge, giving tonal depth, quick response and a well-balanced amount of sustain. The finish is satin lacquer in new colors, here Licorice Satin, chosen to bring out the shells' tonal potential. The Tour Custom suits most musical styles.

Y.E.S.S. mounting system

The toms use Yamaha's Y.E.S.S. (Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System), which minimizes contact between the shell and the mount. This increases dynamic range and extends sustain.

Inverted Dyna Hoops

The redesigned inverted Dyna Hoops on the toms and floor tom (TT/FT) are 2.3 mm thick and help control the overtones that all-maple shells otherwise tend to produce, giving a more focused fundamental tone. The bass drum hoop is maple, 8.0 mm.

Absolute Lugs

The kit is fitted with Yamaha's exclusive Absolute Lugs in chrome, whose refined design gives the shells an extra touch of class.
