Yamaha Recording Custom Fusion - Solid Black

Product Description

Yamaha Recording Custom Fusion Set is a drum kit in the Recording Custom series, developed together with Steve Gadd. The shell is built in 100% birch 6ply and gives a refined, focused sound with a rounder and deeper tone.

Construction

The drums have 30 degree / R1.5 bearing edges and newly designed heavy duty Hi-tension lugs in one piece. The hoops are in 1.6mm steel with Triple Flange Hoop, while the bass drum has wood hoops. The toms are mounted with the Y.E.S.S. System and the floor tom bracket is of the FT Bracket Open type. The bass drum spurs are of the BD Leg Convertible type.

Heads

The toms come fitted with Remo US Coated Ambassador as batter head and Remo US Clear Ambassador as resonant head. The bass drum comes with Remo PS3 Coated as batter head and Remo Smooth White PS3 with Yamaha logo as resonant head.

Sound and Feel

The kit is easy to use and easy to tune, and it establishes the classic Recording Custom sound. The bass drum has a fat sound and the drums respond well to different heads. The tone is crisp and articulate with optimal sustain, and the tuning range is wide.

Use

The kit suits all types of drumming in all situations.
