Yamaha CS6

Product Description

The Yamaha CS6 is a single-braced boom stand from Yamaha's 600 series with a step-free tilter. The boom arm can be stored inside the upper pipe, so the stand also works as a straight stand. At just 3.4 kg with a height range of 75 to 151 cm, it's light to carry and quick to reconfigure.

• Step-free tilter for smooth, precise angle adjustment
• Boom arm stores inside the pipe, converts to a straight stand
• Felt washer and Y-shaped wing nut for the cymbal
• Single-braced legs with large rubber feet
• Refined wing nuts that are easier on the hands

Stepless angle adjustment

The step-free tilter lets you set the cymbal angle smoothly and precisely, with no gear steps to fight against.

Boom or straight

The boom arm slides inside the upper pipe. When you don't need the boom, the stand works just as well straight, and becomes more compact to carry and store.

Simple, proven details

The cymbal rests on a felt washer and is held with a simple Y-shaped wing nut. The clamp base holds firmly without overtightening, the legs have large rubber feet for stability, and the wing nuts on the pipe have a refined shape that's gentler on the hands.

Who It's For

A good fit for drummers who want a light boom stand that can also be used straight when needed. The CS6 replaces Yamaha's earlier CS655A.
