Yamaha Absolute Maple Hybrid Rock - Red Autumn

Product Description

Yamaha Absolute Maple Hybrid Rock Set is a drum kit built around shells in Maple-Wenge-Maple Hybrid, in the Red Autumn finish. The sizes are 10", 12", 16" and 22" bass drum, and the sound spans rich and clear across the whole dynamic range, from pianissimo to fortissimo. Please note that the picture shows a different colour and that picture 2 shows the correct colour.

Shell And Hoops

The bass drum shell is 8.0mm thick while the shells of the tom and floor tom are 6.2mm thick. The hoops are cast in aluminium die-cast with a thickness of 3.0mm, which gives a strong, tight sound image with extraordinary attack and decay.

Heads

The tom and floor tom are fitted with REMO Clear Emperor batter heads and REMO Clear Ambassador resonant heads. The bass drum has a REMO PS3 Clear batter head and a REMO Smooth White PS3 resonant head with the Yamaha logo.

Technology

The toms sit in the YESS III tom mount, a construction that reduces acoustic dampening against the shell. Each shell also has a Vent Hole optimised for that particular shell's air volume.

Feel

The kit belongs to Yamaha's Absolute Hybrid Series and responds with a broad dynamic range to every strike.
