Yamaha Absolute Maple Hybrid Rock Set is a drum kit in the Absolute Hybrid Series, built in Maple-Wenge-Maple Hybrid with sizes 10", 12", 16" and 22" bass drum. The finish is Pink Champagne Spark.

Shell And Hoops

The shells are 8.0mm thick on the bass drum and 6.2mm on the tom and floor tom. Inside, the shells are coated with an exclusive Vintage Natural finish. The vent hole is optimised for each shell's air volume, which affects tone and sustain.

Heads

The tom and floor tom come fitted with REMO Clear Emperor batter heads and REMO Clear Ambassador resonant heads. The bass drum has a REMO PS3 Clear batter head, with REMO Coated Ambassador on the 18" version, and a REMO Smooth White PS3 resonant head with the Yamaha logo.

Technology

The lugs are Hook Lugs, giving quick and easy head changes, precision tuning and the ability to handle high tension. YESS III tom mounting reduces dampening and increases sustain and volume. The Low-Mass Tom Holder Base lets the bass drum shell vibrate more freely.

Sound and Feel

The hybrid shell gives a rich and clear tone across the whole dynamic range, from pianissimo to fortissimo. The dynamic range is wide, responding to every hit and following changes in dynamics.
