Yamaha Absolute Maple Hybrid Jazz Set in the Red Autumn finish is built around shells in Maple-Wenge-Maple Hybrid with aluminium die-cast hoops. The set gives a rich and clear sound across the whole dynamic range, from pianissimo to fortissimo.

Shell And Hoops

The shells are made from Maple-Wenge-Maple Hybrid with a thickness of 8.0mm for the bass drum and 6.2mm for the tom and floor tom. The hoops are aluminium die-cast with a thickness of 3.0mm, which gives a strong and tight sound with extraordinary attack and decay. The inside of the shell has a Vintage Natural finish.

Technology

The tom holder on the bass drum has a Low-Mass Tom Holder Base. The shells' vent hole is optimised for tone colour and sustain based on the shell's air volume.

Sound and Feel

The set responds to every hit with a wide dynamic range. It gives an extremely expressive power that lets the drummer reach a new level of expression.

Included

The tom and floor tom come with REMO Clear Emperor batter heads and REMO Clear Ambassador resonant heads. The bass drum has a REMO Coated Ambassador batter head and a REMO Smooth White PS3 resonant head with the Yamaha logo.
