The Yamaha Absolute Maple Hybrid Jazz Set in Orange Sparkle is built in Maple-Wenge-Maple Hybrid and comes in the sizes 10", 12", 14" with an 18" bass drum. The kit gives a wide dynamic range and responds to every touch, from pianissimo to fortissimo.

Shells And Hoops

The shells are 8.0mm thick on the bass drum and 6.2mm on the toms and floor tom. The hoops are Aluminum Die-Cast with a thickness of 3.0mm and give a strong, tight sound with clear attack and decay. The inside of the shell has a Vintage Natural finish, and each shell has a vent hole optimised individually.

Heads

The toms and floor tom have REMO Clear Emperor batter heads and REMO Clear Ambassador resonant heads. The bass drum has a REMO Smooth White PS3 resonant head with the Yamaha logo. The bass drum batter head is a REMO Coated Ambassador.

Technology

The YESS III tom mounting reduces damping. The Hook Lug lugs allow quick and easy head changes along with precision tuning.

Feel

The kit gives an extremely expressive power and a new level of expression in your playing. The series is called Absolute Hybrid Series and is built around the combination of maple and wenge in the shell construction.
