Yamaha Absolute Maple Hybrid Fusion Set in Red Autumn is a drum set from the Absolute Hybrid Series, built with shells in Maple-Wenge-Maple Hybrid in sizes 10", 12", 14" with 20" bass drum. The set gives a rich and clear sound across the whole dynamic range, from pianissimo to fortissimo.

Shell And Hoops

The bass drum has a shell thickness of 8.0mm while the tom and floor tom are built in 6.2mm. The hoops are aluminium die-cast with a thickness of 3.0mm, giving a strong and solid sound with clear attack and decay. The inside of the shell has a Vintage Natural finish, and each shell has a vent hole optimised for its own air volume.

Heads

The tom and floor tom are fitted with REMO Clear Emperor batter heads and REMO Clear Ambassador resonant heads. The bass drum has a REMO PS3 Clear batter head and a REMO Smooth White PS3 resonant head with Yamaha logo.

Technology

The toms sit in a YESS III tom holder that reduces acoustic dampening. The bass drum uses a Low-Mass Tom Holder Base, letting the shell vibrate more freely.

Feel

The set has a broad dynamic range that responds to every hit and follows changes in dynamics throughout playing.
