Yamaha Absolute Hybrid Maple Fusion - Pink Champagne Spark

Product Description

The size is 10", 12", 14" with 20" bass drum, and the set belongs to the Absolute Hybrid Series.

Shell

The shells are 8.0mm thick on the bass drum and 6.2mm on the tom and floor tom. The hoops are die-cast aluminium, 3.0mm thick, giving a strong, tight sound with extraordinary attack and decay. The inside of the shell has a Vintage Natural finish. The Vent Hole is optimised for each shell's air volume, which affects tone and sustain. The toms have a 45° edge with R1.5 for a balanced tone, while the bass drum has a 30° edge with R1.5 that brings out more low end.

Heads

The tom and floor tom have REMO Clear Emperor batter heads and REMO Clear Ambassador resonant heads. The bass drum has a REMO PS3 Clear batter head. The bass drum's resonant head is a REMO Smooth White PS3 with Yamaha logo.

Technology

The YESS III tom mount reduces acoustic dampening. The Low-Mass Tom Holder Base lets the bass drum vibrate more freely. Hook lugs give quick and easy head changes and precision tuning.

Sound

The set gives a rich and clear tone across the whole dynamic range, from pianissimo to fortissimo. The dynamic range is wide and responds to every stroke.
