The Yamaha Absolute Maple Hybrid Fusion Set is a drum kit in the colour Orange Sparkle, built in the sizes 10", 12", 14" with a 20" bass drum. The shells are made from Maple-Wenge-Maple Hybrid, a construction that combines maple and wenge in the layers.

Shell And Hoops

The shells have a thickness of 8.0mm on the bass drum and 6.2mm on the toms and floor tom. The hoops are made from aluminium through Die-cast casting with a 3.0mm thickness. The inside of the shell has a Vintage Natural finish.

Technology

The ventilation holes are optimised for tone and sustain, which affects how the drum rings out.

Heads

The toms and floor tom come with Remo Clear Emperor batter heads and Remo Clear Ambassador resonant heads. The bass drum has a Remo PS3 Clear batter head and a Remo Smooth White PS3 resonant head with the Yamaha logo.

Sound

The kit gives a rich and clear sound across the whole dynamic range, from pianissimo to fortissimo. The aluminium hoops contribute to a strong and tight sound with extraordinary attack and decay. The dynamic range is wide and responds to every stroke.
