ProMark Discovery Series FPY20
Xylophone mallets, ProMark Discovery with yarn head and fiberglass handle. Soft, full tone with clear articulation.
Product Description
The FPY20 is a xylophone mallet from ProMark's Discovery Series (Future Pro), built for music education. The yarn head produces a soft, full tone with medium articulation, while the fiberglass handle with rubber grip keeps the mallet light and stable in hand.
The Discovery Series (Future Pro) is ProMark's quality mallet line for school and educational use. Every model in the series features a fiberglass handle with a rubber grip for a secure hold during long practice sessions.
The series is available in several hardness grades depending on head material: FPY is yarn-wound and gives a soft, full tone on xylophone. FPC is wound with 100% cotton thread and produces a defined, articulate tone on vibraphone. FPR has a rubber head for maximum articulation on both xylophone and vibraphone. The FPY20 belongs to the FPY family and is therefore intended for xylophone, with medium articulation.
