Product Description
The Meinl Sonic Energy Wave Drum 22" is a hand drum that recreates the soothing sound of rolling ocean waves. Steel balls roll freely across the head, creating a natural, relaxing wave motion perfect for sound healing, meditation and relaxation.
The drum features two different heads, one of natural goatskin and one of synthetic material, so you can choose the tonal character depending on which side you play. A small port in the shell lets you control how many balls are inside the drum, and therefore how intense and flowing the sound becomes.
Construction
The shell is made from Siam Oak wood (Hevea brasiliensis Muell.-Arg.), and the drum is handmade in India using traditional methods. A bell and a dorje are included.
