The VMH-D1 is a set of headphones jointly developed by Roland and V-MODA, purpose-built for electronic drumming. They're tuned to handle the fast transients, wide frequency range and rich overtones of an electronic kit, while staying comfortable through long playing sessions.

Expert Tuning

The VMH-D1 is the first collaboration between Roland's V-Drums team and V-MODA, a leading name in headphones for DJs and electronic musicians. Through several development stages they crafted a design that pairs custom 50 mm drivers with select materials and new mounting methods, accurately translating the aggressive transients and rich overtones of any electronic kit. Sound Character

Expect tight, punchy bass for kick tones, warm full midrange for snare and toms, and smooth, extended highs for cymbals. The wide soundstage and clear separation reveal subtle drum overtones, natural cymbal decay and room ambience in good detail.

Comfort and Durability

Large memory foam earpads and a cushioned headband allow hours of continuous play. The earpads isolate well against pad noise and outside distractions, and the synthetic leather covering has moisture-wicking properties that reduce slippage during sweaty sessions.

Tangle-Free Drumming

The extra-long 3 m cable gives plenty of slack between module and headphones without getting in the way of arms and legs. A cable retainer at the back of the headphones routes the cable behind the head and down towards the floor behind the drum throne. A clear red "R" on the right earcup shows the correct orientation at a glance.
