Tama S.L.P. Black Brass
Black Brass features a slightly thicker 1.5mm brass shell for a fat sound and solid punch.
Product Description
The Tama S.L.P. Black Brass is a snare drum with a 1.5 mm brass shell that delivers a fat, powerful sound with a solid low end and a clear top register. The pressed 2.3 mm hoop and the 42-strand snare wires make it especially good for fat rimshots.
Black Brass has a slightly thicker shell than standard, giving it a rounder, more powerful fundamental tone without losing attack in the top end. The classic brass sound. Warm on the bottom but sharp in the tone. Comes through clearly thanks to the combination of shell, hoop, and snare wires.
If you prefer more dynamics and a rounder sound, try the drum with Tama's Super Sensitive snare wires instead of the standard set.
